Bill Druck is a neo classic jazz guitarist. He plays with an upbeat retro vibe always with something new and fresh. He was on the faculty of York College of Pennsylvania where he taught jazz guitar and contemporary electric guitar with focus on musicianship, fretboard harmony, and improv for over 18 years. Bill has studied with jazz guitarist Bill Fisher and trumpeter Joe Salvatore and has perfomed on stage with both local and international artists.

Bill treats his performances like a piece of art in progress. It may go toward a nuevo edge, lean towards something traditional, or expose some country pickin'. Bill likes to play "for the moment" and enter the proceedings with a blank slate letting the music dictate the direction his playing should take.  But the bottom line is Bill likes to have fun, get funky, and swing big time!  Bill has played in numerous jazz and contemporary settings including traditional swing to ultra modern bringing his unique fluid style.

A recording to make note of is “Relevance” with the duo Umble/Druck (with Jay Umble). This is a two guitar experience in textural and melodic vistas. Umble/Druck can be often be found playing throughout the Central PA region and beyond.  Bill also plays in solo, trio and quartet formats and often in the guitar and bass duo format.

What else do we need to know about Bill?  He likes a good cup of coffee, a tasty bowl of pho, some funky art and loves hanging with the kids and his wife.
